What we check

Eight points, every month.

Our automatic checks go through all of your books. An expert then reviews every flagged point before sending it to you.

Bank reconciled

Every movement on your accounts has its entry, and the balance in your books matches your bank.

Account coding

Every entry in the right account: an investment as an asset, not an expense, and every expense in its place.

VAT codes

The right rate on every sale, and input tax only with a compliant invoice.

Receipts and duplicates

Every entry has its supporting document, and no invoice is booked twice.

Suspense accounts

The “to sort out” amounts that linger and distort your result.

Shareholder current account

What moves between you and your company, documented and consistent.

Open invoices

Customers who haven’t paid and suppliers still to pay, kept up to date.

Private expenses

Anything that looks like a personal expense paid by the company, flagged before the tax office sees it.

Question 1 of 9

How we work

Your books stay yours.

We access your bexio read-only. No entry is changed without your OK.

Your side

  • You enter your bookkeeping in your bexio, just like today.
  • You attach your receipts and sync your bank.
  • You approve or reject each proposed correction.

Our side

  • We review your books every month, automatically and then with an expert.
  • We send you a clear report: what’s right, what needs correcting and why.
  • We check and file your VAT returns, and prepare your annual accounts and tax return.

Common mistakes

What we find most often in self-kept books.

Nothing serious when it’s caught within the month. Much more expensive when the tax office or the SFTA finds it, years later.

01

The wrong VAT code

A sale at the wrong rate or a service from abroad left out: you pay the difference, plus interest.

02

Input tax without a compliant invoice

A receipt without the supplier’s VAT number doesn’t let you deduct the VAT. If you’re audited, it gets clawed back.

03

Private spending booked as expenses

Weekend meals, personal purchases: a private expense paid by the company can be reclassified as a profit distribution.

04

An investment booked as an expense

A computer, a machine or a vehicle booked straight to expenses instead of being recorded as an asset and depreciated: your result is wrong.

05

Online sales booked net

Shopify, Stripe or TWINT pay out the amount after commission. Turnover and fees must appear separately.

06

Forgotten suspense accounts

What’s “to sort out” in March is often still there in December, and distorts your result for the year.

Review or audit?

Two different things.

The Review plan keeps your books safe all year round. An audit is a legal examination of the annual accounts, by a body independent of whoever prepares them.

Review plan

All year, with you

Every month we check what you enter, correct it with your OK, file your VAT, and prepare your annual accounts and tax return.

From CHF 390 per month
Statutory audit

Once a year, separately

For Sàrl (GmbH) and SA (AG) companies that haven’t opted out of the audit: an auditor examines the annual accounts and reports to the general meeting.

Art. 727 ff. CO

Review plan, from CHF 390 per month: monthly review, VAT returns checked and filed, annual accounts and tax return. You keep your own bexio licence.

Talk to an expert
What exactly do you check?

Every month: your bank reconciliation, that each entry is in the right account, VAT codes, attached receipts and duplicates, suspense accounts, your shareholder current account, your open invoices and any spending that looks private. Our automatic checks go through all of your books, then an expert reviews every flagged point.

Do I need to use bexio?

Yes. You keep your books in your own bexio, with your own licence, and give us access. The Review plan doesn’t include the bexio licence: it stays in your name.

Will you change my books?

No, not without your OK. We work read-only. Every correction comes to you with an explanation: you approve or reject it, and you can also book it yourself.

Does this plan replace my company’s audit?

No. The Review plan keeps your books safe all year and includes your annual accounts. A statutory audit is an examination of the annual accounts by an auditor independent of whoever prepares them, for Sàrl (GmbH) and SA (AG) companies that haven’t opted out (art. 727 ff. CO).

Who files my VAT?

We do. We check your return against your books, make sure it matches your turnover, then file it with the Swiss Federal Tax Administration (SFTA) before the deadline.

What does a bookkeeping mistake cost?

It depends: a rejected expense increases your taxable profit, a VAT error can be corrected up to five years back with interest, and a private expense paid by the company can be reclassified as a profit distribution, with 35% withholding tax. Caught within the month, the same mistake takes one entry to fix.

Can you take over a year that’s already started?

Yes. We first review the months already entered and suggest corrections, then the review becomes monthly. Your year-end closing starts from a clean base.

How much does the Review plan cost?

From CHF 390 per month, excl. VAT. It includes the monthly review, VAT returns checked and filed, and your company’s annual accounts and tax return. The exact price depends on your volume: we set it together in our first conversation.

Shall we talk?

No stress, no nasty surprises: an expert reviews what you enter. A first conversation, no commitment.
